A parade reminiscent of New Orleans' Mardis Gras will wind its way through downtown St-Georges. Starting at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Grand Marché parking lot, it will wind its way along the Chaudière River. Everyone is invited to follow the parade!

Swing Master Class

DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever heard of the notion of privilege? What forms does it take as a swing dancer? And how can we become more aware of these privileges in order to offer better support to minority members of the community? Together, let's open up to the sensitive issues of systemic racism. Let's open ourselves up to the demands made by many members of our community, so that we can honor and respect them. This space is intended to be a warm, caring moment of exchange where everyone can make their voices heard in safety, and deepen their reflections on their place in the scene.
